I'm a new graduate in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering, interested in the development and design of new and innovative ways for the use of nuclear power, especially for use in space and propulsion technology.
ProjectsReferencesCody Race has worked as a summer intern for the City of Twin Falls for several years. As a young high school student, we believed we would need to provide training on workplace skills. This was not the case. Cody clearly understood workplace expectations for appropriate attire, timely arrival and departure, proper notification to supervisors of projects' status, professional and courteaous interface with internal and external customers, appropriate and timely feedback during project delays and consistent notification when departing for and returning from field work experiences. Further, during the work shift, he worked. his work ethic has been clearly demonstrated from the start of our experience.
Cody, by team vote, lead a student team of four ISU senior engineering students in the development of a mock up robotics work cell, for INL. He organized this team applying skills both learned in school and skills developed as part of his personal development. He developed both cost and labor schedules that the team worked to. He managed the budget relative to labor and non labor charging, always with the goal of being on target with both (which he did). Both of these demonstrated his ability to manage a project with the overall budget being $96.2K.
